My 28mm WW2 Painting, has been going along at a rapid rate. This Blog has kept me motivated for the short term, I hope it will do the same for the long term. Of course because I only post here every 3-4 days, I am finishing stuff well before they get posted. So to catch up here is a round up of finished pieces.
Warlord Games 15 cm Nebelwerfer 41
The good old Multiple rocket launcher is a great little tool in Bolt Action, as it was in WW2, with It was fired from a six-tube launcher mounted on a towed carriage adapted from that used by the 3.7 cm PaK 36. The rockets them selves were Spin stabilised, which helped with accuracy.
This Warlord Crew on this gun are not from a DAK range, I had trouble finding DAK crew, so I just painted the crew in tropical Uniforms, while it works and looks good, there are some things I would have liked to change.

I got a load of Black tree designs MMG and Mortar teams on the last sale, can’t say I was disappointed they are very nice, I have put together two different MMG teams and an 8cm Mortar team.

Officers
I have been working on some officers to be meat shields for the rest of the force what ever the game is I end up playing. The 2nd and 3rd are Perry’s from the DAK box set, they have a smaller head size to the BTD Officer I have here is well.
Hauptmann (Captain)
This is a Black Tree Design office, it is a really nice model, they fit well with the Perrys and Warlord figures I have as well.
Oberleutnant (1st Lieutenant)
Leutnant (2nd Lieutenant)
Forward Observer
And finally radio operator that I will use as a FO.
Over all I am happy with the painting, but not so with my photography, but I am way too lazy to redo these, I need to work on my lighting alot more.
What’s on the painting desk?
DBA, with DBA v3 out in the wild it guess it is time to paint some romans. The romans are a greater part of a Field of Glory force I have, so this is a really nice way to break up the painting load.
